With Patrice Bergeron's hand injury against the Rangers in Boston's 3-2 loss last night, the Bruins appear to have lost for several weeks the one player they could not afford to.
Bergeron IS the Bruins and has been the MVP on a team that has struggled to generate offense all year.
Reports are still sketchy, but TSN.ca is reporting he could be lost for upwards of 6 weeks. Not only does that take him out of the Olympics, but it seriously threatens Boston's current standing in the East.
We're going to find out what some of these other forwards are made of here.
